Checklist for the first 60 days:

1.  After the first 60 days you should know the names and faces of every kid from 5th grade to college in your church. You should know the school they attend, their basic interests, brothers and sisters, and parents. Even if you have yet to meet the kid.

A PROGRAM OF “I’LL GET TO KNOW THEM AS I MEET THEM IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTIBLE!!!!!

 2.  After the first 60 days you should have a feel for the school rivalries and cultures.

 3. After the first 60 days you should know who in the church is willing to help and have a grasp of names, faces, and interests of this group.

 4.  After the first 60 days you should know who in the church is a teacher, counselor, or any other resource with kids.

 5. After the first 60 days you should have a grip on the youth budget, facilities, and resources.

 6. After the first 60 days you should be comfortable with talking with other staff about expectations.

 7. After the first 60 days you should be developing a vision.

 8. After the first 60 days others around you should know you are serious about getting to know them.

 9. After the first 60 days you feel like you are beginning to have a grip on the needs of the kids, parents, leaders, and staff.

Congratulations, you are now ready for the next 60 days.
